Portier Parking Guidance Technology Enhances Guest Experience at Turning Stone Resort Casino

Portier, a global provider of intelligent parking guidance solutions, has completed the installation of its Portier SONIC parking guidance system at Turning Stone Resort Casino’s new South Parking Center in Verona, New York. The project was completed in partnership with construction manager The Hayner Hoyt Corporation and electrical contractor Bruce Electric.

The new 1,492-space parking facility is part of Turning Stone’s $400 million Evolution expansion, which includes new hotel accommodations, conference facilities, and entertainment amenities. With the addition of the new garage, the resort’s total indoor parking capacity has grown to approximately 3,200 spaces.

Portier’s parking guidance solution combines SONIC ultrasonic sensors, interior LED wayfinding signs, exterior monument signage, and Portier HOST management software. Together, these technologies provide real-time parking availability information, guiding drivers to available spaces while improving traffic flow, reducing time spent searching for parking, and enhancing the overall guest arrival experience.

The project was completed through a collaborative effort between Portier, Hayner Hoyt, and Bruce Electric, combining expertise in parking guidance technology, construction management, and electrical installation to deliver an integrated solution for the new facility.

Building on the completed installation at the new South Parking Center, Portier technology is also being deployed in Turning Stone’s existing parking garage, extending intelligent parking guidance across the resort’s parking facilities.
