Portier Sonic Sensors at Gibraltargatan, Johanneberg – Gothenburg
Located in the Johanneberg area of Gothenburg, Sweden, Gibraltargatan is home to notable institutions such as the Regional Archive of Gothia (Regionarkivet Gothia) and the Chalmers University of Technology campus.
A nearby parking facility on Gibraltargatan has recently been upgraded with a smart Portier parking guidance system installed by our Swedish partner, Blinkfyrar ITS AB. At the entrance, a Portier parking guidance display clearly indicates the number of available parking spaces, helping drivers quickly assess availability and encouraging efficient use of the facility.

Each parking space is equipped with a Portier Sonic park sensor, which uses LED indicators to show whether the space is occupied, available, or reserved for drivers with disabilities for example. These sensors communicate in real time with the Portier HOST platform, continuously updating also the entrance display to reflect current space availability.

Portier HOST is our powerful and flexible backend system that seamlessly integrates various parking technologies to provide a smooth and unified user experience.
The Gibraltargatan parking facility is used by building tenants as well as employees working in the surrounding area, offering them a modern and efficient solution for everyday parking needs.
