Ranta-Kartano is a residential area located in Lahti, Finland. A completely new parking facility P-Kartano owned by Lahden Pysäköinti, has been constructed and opened for customers in the fall 2023. The parking facility has a modern design and materials such as wood and colored concrete.

Part of the building is made of artwork based on moiré pattern which is illuminated during the evenings. Thanks to its central location, the parking facility serves residents as well as visitors by offering short-term as well as long-term parking.

The parking facility has a total of 440 parking spaces on 7 floors. The building mainly gets its electricity from its own 58 kW solar power plant – there are a total of 140 solar panels on the building’s green roof.  For EV-charging there are 26 dedicated parking spaces with charging points.

Portier entrance sign welcomes drivers indicating whether there are available parking spaces in the building. Portier parking guidance signs direct drivers to underground floors and to upper floors inside of the facility. In this state-of-the-art parking facility, the icing of the cake is created by Vision parking cameras. One double-sided Vision camera unit can monitor six parking spaces simultaneously in this facility. The data to and from the cameras and parking guidance displays is transferred to Portier HOST, a flexible parking guidance platform which is customizable for all customer needs.
