PowerGo Installs Fast Chargers For Intratuin

At PowerGo's charging stations, drivers of electric vehicles (EVs) can charge in a short time with solar energy from Dutch soil.

PowerGo and Intratuin have entered into a partnership to realize charging solutions at Intratuin branches. PowerGo is installing fast charging stations of 120 kilowatts at Intratuin in Lochem, Apeldoorn and Almelo.

At PowerGo's charging stations, drivers of electric vehicles (EVs) can charge in a short time with solar energy from Dutch soil. The Intratuin stores will each have two fast chargers with a capacity of up to 120 kilowatts, allowing four cars to charge simultaneously. Intratuin Lochem is the first location to be equipped with these fast chargersAccording to the current planning, charging can also be done in Apeldoorn from October 1. Intratuin Almelo will follow in early 2024.

The fast chargers are equipped with LCD screens, on which the user has easy access to information about charging and payment. These charging stations also offer additional communication and advertising options for Intratuin.

Combining loading and shopping

“At Intratuin, drivers of EVs can now combine charging with a store visit,” says Jaimy Kearney, Head of Business Development at PowerGo. ''PowerGo takes care of the investment of the charging infrastructure and facilitates the entire process, completely removing the risk and worries for the partner."

Huub Spikker, Branch Manager Intratuin Lochem: “Green is central at Intratuin. We strive to bring people closer to a green, natural way of life. Sustainability therefore occupies an important place in Intratuin's policy. This is reflected in the fact that we set high standards for our plants and products and treat our environment with care. Through the collaboration with PowerGo, we now also offer our visitors the opportunity to charge their electric car in a fast and sustainable way. Something that fits perfectly with the future and the mission and vision of Intratuin.”
