PowerGo will install charging solutions for electric cars in the Danish municipality of Glostrup. This involves 20 AC charging points, together with two fast charging points. The charging stations are located throughout the municipality and publicly accessible.
Glostrup has selected Charge Point Operator (CPO) PowerGo based on a tender. PowerGo will deploy, manage and operate the charging stations using the Spirii EV charging platform. The charging stations will be installed by GodEnergi.
Accessible and sustainable charging
Glostrup is located in the region of Hovestaden and forms one of the suburbs of Copenhagen. The municipality is committed to being more sustainable. In addition, Glostrup considers it very important that charging stations are available for drivers of electric cars who cannot charge at home.
The charging points will be installed on various locations spread throughout the municipality, to ensure easy access to charging for its citizens. Together with the fast-charging points, chargers will also be installed at Eriksvej & Christianvej, a shopping area close to the train station.
