E-charging stations at Q-Park

Q-Park Takes Innovative Steps to Meet the Growing Demand for E-Charging Stations and Plans Expansion Across Parking Facilities.

The electric car has become indispensable for most drivers and so the demand for e-charging stations. Making it possible to charge the car when stationary is now a must for sustainability and the driver's peace of mind. Q-Park has already equipped car parks with the most up-to-date charging facilities, and more installations are planned. The focus here is stress-free, safe, and convenient parking with your electric car. In the future, even more e-charging stations are to be provided in Q-Park parking facilities.

Overall, Q-Park can currently meet consumer demand with over 70 installed e-charging stations. The first site to undergo installation was Unter den Linden, in Berlin. Q-Park also offers e-charging stations in two parking lots at Alexanderplatz and Potsdamer Platz. This means that a total of over 30 e-charging stations are available in Berlin. The cities of Düsseldorf, Dresden and Essen provide 3, 8 and 6 spacious and comfortable charging stations for electric cars.

The process is straightforward: First, plan your trip to your desired city, which can be selected directly on the Q-Park website in the cities tab. The next step is to find out which of the parking facilities in the respective city has a charging station for the electric car. To do this, the desired parking facility is called up and you can see the most important information at first glance. In the Berlin Alexanderplatz example, it is directly stated that there are 10 charging stations in the parking facility. If you would like to find out more information about services, you can simply open the Services section with a mouse click. Small icons indicate all of Q-Park's services, making this even more manageable on the website.

Now the charging process can begin after comfortably driving into the Q-Park parking facility. To start and end the charging process, the charging card is simply held over the charging station's reader. It is important to mention at this point that Q-Park does not charge any additional costs.

In the short term, Q-Park will provide 500 charging stations to meet the increasing demand.
