YUL P4 Parking Facility Becomes First Canadian Airport Infrastructure to Earn Envision Certification

A parking facility at YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport has been recognized for its approach to sustainability and long-term resilience. The P4 structure, operated by ADM Aéroports de Montréal, has achieved Envision Verified certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. According to the project information, it is the first parking facility and the first airport infrastructure project in Canada to receive the recognition. P4 opened in February 2024 and forms part of YUL’s wider infrastructure modernization program.

TNS Expands Android Terminal Platform with Bring Your Own App

TNS’s new capability enables operators to rapidly develop and deploy their own customer-facing Android applications without the operational burden - Transaction Network Services (TNS) has unveiled its new Bring Your Own App (BYOA) capability. BYOA enables operators to create and deploy their own customer-facing applications on TNS's Android-based unattended payment terminals without having to manage the complexity of payment processing, compliance and certification.

The EFA-EnergySaver by EFAFLEX

Making sustainability measurable and highlighting specific potential savings for customers: with this aim in mind, Jan Hauffe and Rebecca Hofstätter-Griss from the EFAFLEX sales team developed the digital tool EFA-EnergySaver The EFA-EnergySaver enables architects, planners and businesses to calculate their potential energy, CO₂ and cost savings with just a few inputs. It compares a conventional industrial sectional door with an EFAFLEX high-speed door.

Tallinn Airport Awards €66.6 Million Contract for Major Terminal Expansion

Tallinn Airport is moving ahead with a major expansion of its passenger terminal after awarding a construction contract worth approximately €66.6 million to Tallinna Ehitustrust OÜ and Ehitustrust OÜ. The project is designed to increase the airport’s annual passenger capacity to as many as five million travellers and forms part of a wider development programme running between 2025 and 2029. Major construction work inside the terminal is expected to begin in early 2027 and take approximately 31 months to complete.

Edinburgh Airport Unveils £500 Million Expansion and Infrastructure Programme

Edinburgh Airport has announced a major five-year investment programme worth more than £500 million, covering terminal expansion, new aircraft infrastructure, passenger facilities and wider improvements across the airport campus. The programme represents the largest capital investment initiative in the airport’s history and forms the first stage of a broader long-term development plan designed to increase capacity and prepare the airport for future passenger and route growth. A major focus will be the transformation of the terminal.

ParkMundo and SMSParking Simplify Airport Parking for Business Travellers

ParkMundo has partnered with SMSParking to make airport parking easier to manage for business travellers and their employers. Through the collaboration, users of the SMSParking Card can now book airport parking through ParkMundo and have the transaction included directly on their company's SMSParking invoice. The partnership extends the existing SMSParking business parking solution to airport parking, allowing employees travelling by air to arrange their parking in advance without having to pay privately and submit a separate expense claim afterwards.
